Horses For Sale

Free Mustang Gelding

I adopted him when He was about 6 months from a BLM auction along with a mare.
He is currently about 7 years old and stands 15HH.
I raised him and planned on keeping him forever.
I trained him to voice commands on the lunge line.
He has been ridden many miles on the trail, trailered to the Cuyamaca's and taken to Gymkhanna's.
I never rode him in the shows, I rode him around to get him used to the atmosphere.
When he was 4, I was given 8 young arabian horses. I was planning on training them and rehoming them but Liberty was easier to rehome so I had to let him go.
The lady who bought him kept him in a 24X24 and he rarely got out. Needless to say he became hot.
She sent him back to me and I got him calmed back down and rehomed him again. About a year after that, this lady called me and said she could no longer keep him so I gave him to a friend. Now he has become too much for my friend.
He needs someone to ride him a couple times a week. When he is ridden often, he is very easy going. I used to put my son on him who was 10 at the time!
So, I know how this horse is.
He is sound, perfect for the shoer, ties, trailers, utd on everything, and has good bare feet.
When he is first approached, he sometimes acts frightened as if you are a vet that is going to do something to him, but he calms down quickly. He needs a gentle calm owner who understands Mustangs.
I have an old picture of him in the Cuyamaca's. To see the picture, go to my page Horses rehomed. Scroll down to the bottom of the page. My son is on him. When he starts to behave hot, I have no problem getting him to straighten up by turning his head and working in circles.
SO, NO BEGINNERS!
NO 24x24's!
He needs someone who will ride often and can ride well.

Sky Bug

Sky Bug
Registered paint mare
6 years and about 16 hh
60 days professional training by Stephanie If you are looking for an oh so sweet mare that is willing, big, confident and gorgeous then Sky is perfect for you.
She crosses water, logs, stands for shoer, bathes, clips, trailers, ties, is barefoot and just really easy to work with. I do recommend a gentle hand with her. She does better with positve correction. She is of course, green but has started very well. When she lies down in the pasture, I sit beside her and hold her head and she seems to fall asleep. This shows how trusting and respectful she is to humans. If you are interested in Sky you can reach her owner at 619-445-7979 OR trainer at 619-987-8923.

Suede Goddess

She has a little spook but not much considering how green she is. She is ridden mostly in western but can go english or bareback. No buck, rear, bite or kick. Intermediate to advanced rider simply because she is green. She has solid hooves and is barefoot. She is so easy to fall in love with. Buyers Matched With Appropriate Horse

Here at "A Not So La-Z Ranch", we do things the old fashioned way. Our number one priority is making sure we find suitable homes for the animals we train and re-home. Every new home must have adequate shelter and room for the horse to run. Often, new owners might not know exactly what they want or need, or may have been misled in the past. Our goal is to match the animal to the owner's specific needs.
